←「日本株の上昇率、世界で突出　年初から12％高」という今日の日経新聞のweb版。

曰く、
「今年に入ってからの世界の株価の騰落率を比べると、日経平均は12.2％高と欧米やアジアの株式指数を大きく上回り、突出した上昇ぶりになっている。
日米首脳会談を経て、環太平洋経済連携協定（ＴＰＰ）交渉に参加する方針が見えたことで海外投資家が改めてアベノミクスを評価する動きを強めたことも日本株に追い風だ。」

うむむ…
本当に、そんなに日本株は上がっているのですか？

たしかに、日経平均株価の推移は…
・昨年１２月末日　10,395円
・今年０１月末日　11,138円
・今年２月２５日　11,662円
です。
今年に入ってから今日までに、株価は１２．２％上昇しています。

この意味で、日経新聞の記事は正確です。

しかし、円／ドルの為替の推移は…
・昨年１２月末日　１ドル＝８３円５８銭
・今年０１月末日　１ドル＝８９円１６銭
・今年２月２５日　１ドル＝９３円８６銭
です。
今年に入ってから今日までに、ドルに対して１２．３％円安になっています。

円表示の日経平均株価が１２．２％上昇する一方で、ドルに対して円が１２．３％も安くなった、ということです。

整理すると、日経平均株価は
・日本円では１２．２％値上がりしているが、
・米ドルに換算すると　全く値上がりせずに０．１％値下がりしている、
ということです。


円安になるということは円の通貨価値が下がる、ということです。

為替・通貨の基本です。

円の通貨価値が下がれば、見かけ上の円での株価が上がるのは…当然です。

このように考えると、日本の株価が
「欧米やアジアの株式指数を大きく上回り、突出した上昇ぶりになっている」
と解説するのは、いかがなものか。

直接の嘘はないけれど、読者を惑わせ、ミスリードしかねない。

正しくは、
「欧米やアジアに比較して日本円は突出して安くなっている（通貨価値が低下している）。
このために、日本円で見た日本の株価は突出した上昇ぶりになっている。
しかし、世界の基軸通貨であるドルでみると、残念ながら日本の株価は上昇していない。
むしろ、わずかに下落している。」
と解説すべきだと思うのですが、いかがでしょう？


また、日経新聞が
「海外投資家が改めてアベノミクスを評価する動きを強めたことも日本株に追い風だ」
と解説するのにも疑問を感じます。

海外投資家はドメスティックに日本円で投資を考えるたりしません。

海外投資家はグローバルな視点で、基軸通貨たる米ドルをベースにして投資の損得を考えるはずです。

そうだとすれば、日経平均株価の上昇が、本当にアベノミクスへ海外投資家の評価が現れた結果と言えるのか、はなはだ疑問ではないでしょうか。

この種の　”直接の嘘はないけれど、読者を惑わす記事”は、意外と多い。

経済マスコミの雄たる新聞社なのですから、もっとグローバルな視点で経済記事を書いて欲しい、と思うのは私だけではないでしょう。

Ambrose Bierce の “The Moonlit Road” が一つの事実に対して三通りの解釈を示しているのに対して、芥川龍之介の「藪の中」は三通りの事実を提示しているようにみえる。しかし、「藪の中」の主題を近代的心理描写に置くならば、三通りの心理状態があると考えることも可能である。
結局、「藪の中」は、『今昔物語集』第二十九巻第二十三話「具妻行丹波国男於大江山被縛語」を中心とし、部分的に同巻の「袴垂於関山虚死殺人語」を追加し、近代文学に換骨奪胎・再構成したものである。そして、その再構成の過程において、Robert Browning の “The Ring and the Book” や Ambrose Bierce の　”The Moonlit Road” が形式的な影響を与えたものと考えられる。そこに Edgar Allan Poe の “The Murders in the Rue Morgue” の関与も含めて、それらの程度がどれほどのものであったか、まさに「藪の中」である。それこれらの影響は、決して芥川龍之介の独創性、創作性を否定するものではなく、彼の博識と、それを自己のものとして吸収し、自家薬籠中のものとして活用し得る能力を示すものである。「藪の中」は「羅生門」として映画化され、国際的に知られることとなった。

日本は個人のゼーレが全体のゼーレになりうる。ナチスは全体のゼーレのために、個人のゼーレを犠牲にしなければならなかった。そこに今日、中堅のドイツ人の苦しさがある。しかし、ヒトラー・ユーゲントはその苦しさを知らずにナチスに育て上げられている。この点、ナチスの努力は凄まじいものがあった、と考えさせられた。

生物の色覚数は、その活動場所にそれなりに相関が見られるように思います。主に暗いところにいる深海の魚とかは単色しか見えない。そして明るいところに生きる生物ほど色の数が増え、人間ではRGBの3色、ねずみ類とかではもうちょっと暗いところにいたので2色が多いです。そして日中行動を主とする生物では4色、人間には見えない色覚を持っています。
