Council for World Mission

Our 31 members share their experience of mission through training, short-term exchanges and conferences. In partnership through CWM they also share financial resources and missionaries from one side of the globe to the other to carry out God’s mission locally. CWM stands for
  • Justice in relationships
  • Mutuality, equality and interdependence
  • Unity in diversity
  • Generosity of spirit

  1. Missions to and of the international organizations are similar to the religious missions. For example, the basic ideas of the Office of the United Nations Office High Commissioner for Human Rights are identical to that of the Council for World Mission. In fact, even the title is from this officiousness (in the Commonwealth of Nations, a High Commissioner is the senior diplomat in charge of the diplomatic mission of one Commonwealth government to another.)
