John DeVore

America's institutions of higher learning are the envy of the world. These highly-competitive smart people factories attract the best minds from other countries, not to mention the brightest our country has to offer.

This shouldn't come as a surprise, of course. The right degree from the right school can create enormous opportunities for those who crack the books. Plus, in this economy, it's increasingly difficult to find any kind of work without a degree, even from smaller and more humble schools.

To be fair though, American universities also produce their fair share of total dumba#@'s, from moronic school administrators, to thoughtless professors and the stupid students they attempt to teach. It seems only right that an environment dedicated to improving the human mind would also, partly, help tear that mind down.
